Team Notes
*TCU set a school record for consecutive wins with its 15th straight victory. The previous mark of 14 wins was set in 1937-38 and 2008-09. TCU has the nation's second-longest active winning streak, behind Ohio State (20).

*TCU is now 37-3 when taking the field as a top-10 team under head coach Gary Patterson, including a 26-1 mark when in the top 5.

*The Horned Frogs have a 21-game winning streak when ranked in the Associated Press Top 5.

*TCU has won 11 consecutive Big 12 games, including six on the road.

*The Horned Frogs have opened a season with a 7-0 record for the third time in the last seven years.

*Josh Doctson's 20-yard touchdown catch on TCU's opening drive extended its nation's-best streak to 20 games with a first-quarter touchdown.

*With 621 yards, TCU reached the 600 mark in total offense for the fifth time in seven games this season.

*TCU scored for the 287th consecutive game. It's the nation's second-longest current streak and fourth all-time in NCAA history. The Horned Frogs haven't been blanked since Nov. 16, 1991 at Texas (32-0).

*TCU's team captains were Trevone Boykin, Joey Hunt, Derrick Kindred and Davion Pierson. Dating back to last season, Boykin and Hunt have been captains in the Horned Frogs' last 20 games.

*TCU wore a purple chrome helmet with a white jersey and white pants.

Individual Notes
*Trevone Boykin's 20-yard scoring toss to Josh Doctson was his nation's-best 22nd consecutive game with a touchdown pass. It also broke Andy Dalton's TCU record of 21 (2009-11).

*Boykin's touchdown pass to Doctson marked the 100th touchdown he's been responsible for in his career, extending his TCU record.

*Boykin finished 27-of-32 for 436 yards passing and four touchdowns. It was his fifth straight game with over 300 yards in the air.

*Boykin led TCU in rushing for the second straight game and ninth time in his career. He finished with 74 yards on 13 carries with a touchdown.

*With 510 total yards, Boykin had his third game this season with at least 500 in offense and four touchdowns. It ties for the most in a season in the last 10 years.

*Boykin's 84.4 completion percentage (27-of-32) was the best mark of his career and ranks fourth in TCU history (min. 15 attempts). It was the highest mark since Andy Dalton set the school record at 91.3 (21-of-23) against Baylor in 2010.

*Boykin surpassed 400 yards in passing for the third time this season and fifth time in his career. He also threw for at least four touchdowns for the fifth time in 2015 and 10th time in his career.

*Doctson had 10 receptions for 190 yards. His two touchdown catches, 20 and 42 yards, gave him 12 on the season to break his TCU record of 11 set last year.

*Doctson has 1,067 yards on the season to break his TCU record of 1,018 set last year. He has two of the three 1,000-yard seasons in TCU history.

*Doctson has a touchdown catch in five straight games and in nine of his last 10.

*Doctson has his fifth straight 100-yard game, eighth at TCU and ninth in his collegiate career.

*Doctson's 190 yards receiving ranked as the seventh most in a game by a Horned Frog.

*Kolby Listenbee had six receptions for 101 yards. His 21-yard first quarter touchdown catch was his third of the season and seventh of his career.

*Listenbee topped the 100-yard mark in receiving for the second time this season and fourth time in his career.

*Listenbee has a touchdown catch in three of his last four games.

*Doctson and Listenbee become the fourth duo at TCU since 2000 to have 100 yards receiving in a game. It is the second time it has happened this season. Doctson and KaVontae Turpin reach the mark against Texas.

*Charlie Reid's 14-yard touchdown catch was the second scoring grab of his career. He had a touchdown reception at SMU last season.

*Desmon White had a career-long 48-yard reception as part of four catches for 78 yards.

*Kyle Hicks' 13-yard scoring run was his third rushing touchdown of the season.

*Jaden Oberkrom's 23-yard field goal was the 66th of his career, breaking Nick Browne's TCU mark of 65 (2001-03).

*Turpin had a career-long 60-yard kickoff return.

*Nick Orr and Ridwan Issahaku tied for team-high honors in tackles with both posting a career-high 10 stops.

*Orr had a sack that resulted in a fumble with Josh Carraway on the recovery.

*Mike Tuaua had his first fumble recovery of the season. He tied for the team lead last season with three.

*Tight end Buck Jones made his first career start.
