Team Notes
*The Horned Frogs have opened with a 6-1 record for the fourth time in the last seven seasons and seventh time in 14 years under head coach Gary Patterson.

*TCU improved its record to 24-3 when taking the field as a top-10 team under Patterson.

*The Horned Frogs have now scored 353 points this season, surpassing their total of 301 from last season.

*TCU set a single-game school record for scoring. The previous mark was 69 in a 69-0 win over New Mexico in 2011.

*TCU broke a Big 12 record for points in a conference game. The previous mark was held by Oklahoma in a 77-0 win over Texas A&M in 2003.

*TCU set a school record with 785 total yards, surpassing the previous mark of 782 set in 2003 against Houston.

*For the first time in its history, TCU had a 400-yard passer (Trevone Boykin, 418), two 100-yard rushers (Aaron Green, 105; Trevorris Johnson, 105) and a 100-yard receiver (Deante' Gray, 165). Last week, TCU had a 400-yard passer, 200-yard receiver and 100-yard rusher for the first time ever.

*TCU rolled up 305 yards on the ground, marking its most rushing yards since posting 390 yards against Wyoming on Nov. 5, 2011.

*In Aaron Green and Trevorris Johnson, the Horned Frogs had two 100-yard rushers in the same game for the first time since 2011 at Wyoming when Waymon James and Ed Wesley both topped the century mark.

*The Horned Frogs improved to 69-4 under Patterson when rushing for at least 200 yards.

*For the fourth straight game, TCU set a single-game scoring record in its all-time series against an opponent (37, Oklahoma; 58, Baylor; 42, Oklahoma State; 82, Texas Tech).

*TCU has recorded its largest margin of victory in a Big 12 game in each of the last two games. The Horned Frogs defeated Oklahoma State, 42-9, last week and Texas Tech 82-27 today.

*TCU had a touchdown drive on its opening possession for the sixth time in sevengames this season.

*The Horned Frogs have had their highest scoring first quarters as a Big 12 member in their last two games. TCU had 24 points today after scoring 21 points last week versus Oklahoma State.

*TCU scored for the 274th consecutive game. It's the nation's second-longest current streak and sixth all-time in NCAA history. The Horned Frogs haven't been blanked since Nov. 16, 1991 at Texas (32-0).

*The Horned Frogs did not open the game with a 14-0 lead for the first time this season. TCU has led by at least 14 points in each game.

*TCU has opened the season with at least 427 yards of total offense in each contest for the first time in school history. The Horned Frogs had 785 today.

*TCU has at least one sack and one interception in nine straight games, the longest streak in the nation.

*The Horned Frogs had their 17th sellout in their last 25 home games.

*TCU's team captains were Trevone Boykin, Sam Carter, Joey Hunt and Davion Pierson.

*TCU wore a purple chrome helmet, anthracite jersey and purple pants.

Individual Notes

*Trevone Boykin set a TCU record with seven touchdown passes in addition to passing for a career-high 433 yards as he completed 22-of-39 passes with no interceptions. The 433 yards are third-most in a game in TCU history.

*Boykin added 28 yards rushing to give him a career-high 461 yards of offense.

*Boykin has moved into third place on TCU's career touchdown pass list with 43. He trails only Max Knake (49, 1992-95) and Andy Dalton (71, 2007-10).

*Aaron Green and Trevorris Johnson both had their first career 100-yard games with 105-yard efforts. Green had just six carries, while Johnson had 10 attempts with twotouchdowns.

*Green's 62-yard touchdown run on TCU's first official play from scrimmage was acareer-long run.

*Green has a rushing touchdown in each of the last three games.

*Josh Doctson had first-quarter touchdown catches of 51 and 5 yards. The 51-yard reception gave him three straight scoring grabs of at least 51 yards. He had touchdown catches of 77 and 84 yards last week versus Oklahoma State.

*Deante' Gray's 92-yard touchdown catch from Boykin was the fifth-longest play in TCU history.

*Gray added a 24-yard touchdown reception to give him six scoring grabs on the season.

*Gray registered his first-career 100-yard game with 165 receiving yards on four catches.

*Senior tight end Cliff Murphy's first career reception was an 8-yard scoring grab in the third quarter.

*Murphy now has two touchdowns on his two career touches. He recovered a fumble in the end zone for a touchdown in the 37-33 win against Oklahoma.

*Ty Slanina's first touchdown reception of the season was on a career-long 57-yard connection from Boykin.

*Emmanuel Porter had his first career touchdown with a 12-yard scoring grab.

*Quarterbacks Zach Allen and Bram Kohlhausen took their first snaps at TCU.

*Paul Dawson had a team-high 11 tackles to reach double figures for the 10th time in his last 14 games, including five contests this season.

*Chris Hackett had his team-best third interception of the season.

*Sam Carter recorded his second interception of the season.

*Jaden Oberkrom was 4-of-4 on field goals, making him 13-of-17 on the season. His first-half makes were from 45, 43 and 47 yards. He is third in Big 12 history for field-goal percentage (69.0) on attempts of at least 40 yards.

*Oberkrom is 10-of-10 on field goals in two games against Texas Tech in Amon G. Carter Stadium. He was 6-of-6 as a freshman in a 2012 contest versus the Red Raiders.

*Oberkrom's 22 points in the game ranked second in TCU history for kick scoring, trailing only the 23 by Oberkrom in a 2012 game against Texas Tech.

*Oberkrom set a TCU record with his 10 extra-points made.
