Team Notes

*The game featured a 3 hour and 6-minute weather delay with 6:08 remaining in the second quarter.
*The attendance of 48,212 marked the second-largest home crowd in TCU history, surpassed only by the 50,307 for the 2009 game versus Utah.
*The Horned Frogs had their 15th sellout in the last 18 home games.
*TCU scored in its 263rd consecutive game, the third-longest current streak in the nation and eighth best in NCAA history.
*TCU recorded two interceptions, marking its fifth game this season with at least two picks.
*The Horned Frogs lost for the first time in four home games this season.
*TCU's team captains were Sam Carter, James Dunbar, Jon Koontz and Jason Verrett.
*TCU wore its new black Nike helmet and jersey, debuted for the LSU game, with purple pants.

Individual Notes



*Tailback Aaron Green made his first career start for TCU and had a season long 22-yard carry on his first rush attempt. He finished with a team-high 34 yards rushing on six carries.
*Casey Pachall saw his first game action since being injured Sept. 7.
*Trevone Boykin started the game at quarterback and later had a 5-yard reception as a wide receiver.
*Cameron Echols-Luper had a 38-yard touchdown pass to LaDarius Brown. Echols-Luper is now 2-of-2 passing for 49 yards and a touchdown this season.
*Brown tied a career high with a team-best seven receptions while totaling a career-best 87 yards receiving.
*Jordan Moore had his first collegiate carries, running four times for 18 yards.
*Josh Doctson posted season highs with three receptions for 57 yards.
*Defensive tackle Jon Lewis made his first start of the season, posting career highs with nine tackles and 2 1/2 for loss.
*All-American Jason Verrett had his second interception of the season and ninth of his career. He also had a pass breakup and five tackles.
*Kevin White had an interception for the second straight game. He now has three picks on the season.
*Paul Dawson's team-high 12 tackles marked the second-best game of his career, trailing only the 17 he had earlier this season versus Kansas.
*Chucky Hunter tallied a career-best 10 tackles.
