Team Notes
*TCU won its third straight game to improve to 6-2 on the season.

*With a 48-yard touchdown pass from Casey Pachall to Skye Dawson on the game's second play from scrimmage, TCU scored on its opening drive for the third straightgame and sixth time in eight contests this season. Included in that total are five touchdowns.

*TCU defeated BYU for the fourth straight year and fifth time in the last seven seasons.

*TCU was a plus-3 in turnover margin and is now a plus-6 in its last two games. The Horned Frogs are now 60-3 when ahead or even in turnover margin over the last seven seasons.

*TCU played at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington for the second straight season. The Horned Frogs defeated Oregon State, 30-21, in last year's season-opening Cowboys Classic.

*With the win, the Horned Frogs became bowl eligible for the seventh straight year and 10th time in 11 seasons under head coach Gary Patterson. TCU has qualified for a bowl game in 13 of the last 14 seasons.

*TCU returns to action next Saturday, Nov. 5, at Wyoming.

Individual Notes:
*TCU quarterbacks accounted for all four first-half touchdowns. Casey Pachall had two touchdown passes, while Matt Brown had a pair of scoring runs.

*Pachall had scoring passes of 48 yards to Skye Dawson and 33 to Josh Boyce, giving him a touchdown pass in nine straight contests. He has thrown for at least two scores in seven of eight games this season.

*Brown's scoring runs of 6 and 2 yards, on his only two carries of the game, gave him four rushing touchdowns in the last two contests and five on the season on just 17 carries.

*Waymon James' 4-yard third-quarter scoring run was his fourth rushing touchdown of the season.

*Ed Wesley ran for 59 yards on 12 carries to lead TCU in rushing for a fourth straight game.

*Redshirt freshman safety Jonathan Anderson had a career-high 17 tackles and his first career interception. Anderson's previous best for tackles was four earlier this season against SMU. The 17 tackles are the most by a Horned Frog since Martin Patterson had 20 versus USF in 2004. It ties for the third-most by a TCU player in Gary Patterson's 11 seasons as a head coach.

*Kenny Cain had his first career interception.

*Five of TCU's seven interceptions this season are by Horned Frogs recording their first career picks.

*Tank Carder had a season-high nine tackles.

*Devin Johnson totaled eight stops, including 2 1/2 for loss, to record a career-high in tackles for the second straight game. Johnson has 5 1/2 tackles for loss in the last two contests.

*Six players combined for TCU's four sacks. It's the second straight game the Horned Frogs have had a season-high four sacks.

*Greg Burks had his third career punt block and first since 2009, when he had two. It's the second straight game TCU has blocked a punt. Deryck Gildon blocked a punt last week against New Mexico that was recovered by Antonio Graves for a touchdown.

*Ross Evans' 35-yard fourth quarter field goal made him 10-of-13 on the season.
