TCU FOOTBALL POST-GAME NOTES
*TCU scored in its 264th consecutive game, the third-longest current streak in the nation and eighth best in NCAA history.
*TCU had two interceptions, marking its sixth game this season with at least two picks.
*TCU wore its purple matte helmet, anthracite jersey and purple pants. It was the first time the Horned Frogs had that look since last year's game versus Virginia.
*Former TCU quarterback and current Cincinnati Bengal Andy Dalton was in attendance.
*Pachall had three touchdown passes, connecting on strikes of 12 and 3 yards to David Porter and 10 yards with Josh Doctson. Pachall now has 39 career scoring tosses, moving him past Casey Printers (37, 1999-01) into fourth on TCU's all-time chart. Next on the list is Sammy Baugh in third with 40 (1934-36).
*Pachall set career highs with his 40 completions and 58 attempts while his 394 yards passing marked the second-best total of his career, surpassed only by his 473 yards in a 2011 win at Boise State.
*Pachall's 40 completions are the second most in a game in TCU history, trailing only the 44 by Matt Vogler versus Houston in 1990. The 58 attempts rank fourth.
*Pachall's 394 yards passing rank sixth for a single game at TCU. He now has two of the top six single-game totals.
*Doctson, Porter and Trevone Boykin all had TCU career highs in receptions.
*Porter had a career-high eight receptions for 72 yards and a career-best two touchdowns. Porter doubled his previous career best of four catches last month versus Kansas. He entered the game with nine catches on the season.
*Porter hauled in a 12-yard touchdown catch early in the second quarter before catching a 3-yard strike to pull TCU within three points late in the fourth quarter.
*Boykin posted career highs with 11 catches for 100 yards. It's the first 100-yard receiving game of his career and the second by a Horned Frog this season (David Porter, 118 versus Kansas)
*Boykin's 11 receptions mark the most by a Horned Frog in 13 seasons under head coach Gary Patterson and the highest total by a TCU player since John Washington hauled in 12 catches on Nov. 4, 1995 against SMU. Boykin's 11 catches tied for the eighth most in a game in TCU history.
*Doctson had his second receiving touchdown of the season and seventh of his career. He had five touchdown catches for Wyoming, including one against TCU, in 2011.
*Doctson posted career bests with eight receptions and 92 yards receiving. It's his second straight game surpassing a season high in catches. He had three receptions last week versus Texas.
*Jonathan Anderson topped the Horned Frogs with 14 tackles and had a career-high two stops for loss, including his first solo sack.
*Geoff Hooker and Paul Dawson both recorded their first career interceptions.
*Dawson totaled 13 tackles, marking double-digit stops for the third time in the past four games. Dawson had two tackles for loss, increasing his season total to seven.
*Chris Hackett tallied 11 tackles, tying a career high. Hackett's 11 stops marked his third double-digit tackle performance this season.
*Jaden Oberkrom connected on field goals of 22 and 45 yards, making him 12-of-16 on the season. His 45-yard field goal tied the game with 19 seconds remaining in regulation. He was just short on a 62-yard attempt in overtime. Three of his four misses this season have been over 50 yards. He is 12-of-13 on attempts inside the 50.
*Oberkrom has at least one field goal in 13 of TCU's last 14 games.
