Post-Game Notes
TCU vs. K-State
Amon G. Carter Stadium
Attendance: 42,746

Team Notes
* It was the 202nd game as TCU's head coach for Gary Patterson, moving him past Dutch Meyer (1934-52) for the most in Horned Frogs’ history. Patterson is 149-53 and surpassed Meyer (109) in 2012 as TCU’s all-time winningest coach.

* TCU will return to action when it heads to its 14th bowl game in 16 years under Patterson. The destination will be announced Sunday.

* Over the last three seasons, TCU is tied for the Big 12’s best overall record (29-9) while having the second-best conference mark (19-8).

* TCU’s school record streak of 41 consecutive games with a sack, tied for the longest in the nation (Clemson) and second-best in Big 12 history, came to an end.

* The Horned Frogs held Kansas State to just a field goal in the first quarter. Dating back to last week’s 31-9 win at Texas, TCU went five straight quarters without allowing a touchdown.

* TCU is now 5-5 versus Kansas State in the series history.

* TCU scored for the 305th consecutive game. It's the nation's second-longest current streak and fourth all-time in NCAA history. The Horned Frogs haven't been blanked since Nov. 16, 1991 at Texas (32-0).

* TCU's team captains were Josh Carraway, Kyle Hicks, Travin Howard and Austin Schlottmann.

* TCU wore a black jersey with purple pants and a purple chrome helmet.

Individual Notes
* Due to injury to Kenny Hill, quarterback Foster Sawyer made his first start of the season and second of his career (Oklahoma, 2015).

* Kyle Hicks had a team-high 60 yards rushing, giving him 954 on the season and leaving him 46 short of 1,000 for the year.

* Nick Orr tied a career-high with his team-best 12 tackles. He also had his first fumble recovery of the season and third of his career.

* Safety Ridwan Issahaku, making his second start of the season, recorded nine stops. It was one shy of a career-best 10 at Iowa State last season.

* Niko Small had the first forced fumble of his career while adding nine tackles.

* Adam Nunez placed three punts inside the 20 to give him 24 on the season with just two touchbacks.

* Brandon Hatfield’s 31- and 40-yard field goals made him 12-of-16 on the season.

* Hatfield’s 40-yard field goal was a career long.
