Kohlhausen Named to AP All-Bowl Team

Jan. 8, 2016

NEW YORK -- The Associated Press has selected TCU's Bram Kohlhausen as the quarterback on its 2015 All-Bowl Team.

Kohlhausen, making his first FBS start in his final collegiate game, rallied the Horned Frogs from a 31-0 halftime deficit to a 47-41 triple-overtime victory over Oregon in the Valero Alamo Bowl. TCU's 31-point comeback tied for the largest ever in a bowl game and for second-best in FBS history.

Kohlhausen’s only previous collegiate starts were the opening three games of the 2013 season at Los Angeles Harbor Community College.

A senior from Houston, Kohlhausen set TCU bowl records with his 28 completions, 45 attempts and 351 yards passing. He threw for two touchdowns while adding 45 yards rushing and another two scores, including an 8-yard run in the third overtime for the game-winning points.

The victory gave TCU (11-2) its eighth 11-win season in the last 11 years.
