Gresham to Represent TCU in Super Bowl XLVIII
Feb. 1, 2014
FORT WORTH, Texas -- TCU will be represented in Sunday's Super Bowl XLVIII by Seattle Seahawks' deep snapper Clint Gresham.
Gresham was a three-year starter (2007-09) at TCU and the only deep snapper invited to the 2010 NFL Combine. He is the 25th Horned Frog to be on a Super Bowl team.
This will be the fifth Super Bowl in the last six years that TCU has had representation. In addition to past football standouts, former TCU baseball player Greg Meyer was the side judge in Super Bowl XLIV between the Indianapolis Colts and New Orleans Saints.
Gresham will be the second TCU deep snapper in the last six years to play in the Super Bowl. Former Horned Frog Jared Retkofsky was the Pittsburgh Steelers' deep snapper in their Super Bowl XLIII win over the Arizona Cardinals.
