Horned Frogs Send Six to NFL Combine

Feb. 11, 2016

FORT WORTH, Texas -- The TCU football program will have six players at the 2016 NFL Combine Feb. 23-29 in Indianapolis.

Representing the Horned Frogs will be quarterback Trevone Boykin, wide receiver Josh Doctson, safety Derrick Kindred, wide receiver Kolby Listenbee, place-kicker Jaden Oberkrom and offensive tackle Halapoulivaati Vaitai.

Boykin broke Andy Dalton's TCU passing records en route to being a two-time All-American and finalist for the Davey O'Brien Award. Doctson, a 2015 unanimous consensus first-team All-American, holds most of TCU's single season and career receiving marks. He was a Biletnikoff Award finalist.

Kindred was first-team All-Big 12 in 2015. He started the final 29 games of his TCU career. Listenbee, a two-time track and field All-American with a 10.03 time in the 100 meters, averaged 19.4 yards per reception in his career. Oberkrom is the TCU and Big 12 career leader with 79 field goals. Vaitai was a two-time All-Big 12 selection, including a first-team pick in 2015.

In his 15 seasons as TCU's head coach, Gary Patterson has had 36 players drafted with 82 in NFL camps. TCU has had at least two players drafted in six of the last seven seasons.

ESPN.com recently ranked TCU as the nation's No. 1 school for developing NFL talent. Sixteen Horned Frogs are currently on NFL rosters.
