Kickoff Times and TV Plans Announced

IRVING, Texas -- The Big 12 Conference has announced the kickoff times and TV plans for four TCU football games this season.

The Horned Frogs’ Sept. 3 season opener with South Dakota State at Amon G. Carter Stadium will have a 7 p.m. kickoff and be televised on FSN. TCU’s Sept. 10 home game versus Arkansas will be at 6 p.m. and shown on ESPN or ESPN2.

TCU will begin Big 12 play Sept. 17 with an 11 a.m. home date against Iowa State on FS1. The Horned Frogs’ Black Friday Nov. 25 game at Texas will be at 2:30 p.m. and televised by FOX or FS1.

TCU begins preseason camp Aug. 3. The Horned Frogs return 13 starters (six offensive, seven defensive) from last year’s 11-2 team that won the Valero Alamo Bowl. That total does not include six starters (two offensive, four defensive) who were sidelined for the season by injury last year.

Sept. 3 – vs. South Dakota State, 7 p.m. (FSN)
Sept. 10 – vs. Arkansas, 6 p.m. (ESPN or ESPN2)
Sept. 17 – vs. Iowa State, 11 a.m. (FS1)
Nov. 25 – at Texas, 2:30 p.m. (FOX or FS1)
