FORT WORTH, Texas -- The TCU football program has announced the addition of tailback Aundre Dean.

A teammate of Horned Frog quarterback Andy Dalton at Katy (Texas) High School, Dean played as a true freshman for UCLA in 2008. Per NCAA transfer rules, Dean will sit out this season and then have three years of eligibility for TCU beginning in the 2010 campaign.

The 6-foot-0, 215-pound Dean was a Parade All-American at Katy and ranked as a top 10 running back in the nation by, and ESPN.

An injury limited Dean to six games for UCLA last season. He totaled 22 yards rushing on 10 carries.
