BALTIMORE, Md. -- TCU quarterback Kenny Hill has been named to the watch list for the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award.

Hill posted three of the top nine single-game passing yard totals in TCU history last season. The senior from Southlake, Texas, is tied for second nationally among active players with five career 400-yard games. His 3,208 passing yards and 3,817 in total offense last year placed third for a season all-time at TCU, behind only Trevone Boykin in the 2014 and 2015 campaigns.

Hill's career-high five touchdown passes against Oklahoma tied him with six others for second in a single game at TCU. His 269 completions on the season ranked second behind Boykin (301, 2014).

In his TCU debut against South Dakota State, Hill became the first player nationally with 400 yards passing, two touchdown passes and three rushing scores in a game since Michigan’s Devin Gardner against Indiana in 2013.

Hill placed second on TCU in rushing with 609 yards on a 4.9 per carry average and 10 touchdowns, which tied for 10th nationally among quarterbacks. He had a carry of at least 40 yards in four of the last five games.
