FORT WORTH, Texas -- TCU's Sept. 8 season opener with Grambling State will have a 6 p.m. kickoff at Amon G. Carter Stadium. Television is still TBA for the contest.

The Horned Frogs will be playing their first game in Amon G. Carter Stadium after its $164 million rebuild.

A victory over Grambling State would make Gary Patterson TCU's all-time winningest coach. His 109 victories are currently tied with Dutch Meyer (1934-52), who led the Horned Frogs to national championships in 1935 and 1938. Patterson's .784 winning percentage (109-30) ranks fourth among active coaches nationally.
