*TCU begins a stretch of seven consecutive weeks with Big 12 games when it travels to No. 11/10 Oklahoma for a Saturday 6 p.m. contest on FOX.
*After closing the regular season last year with the Sooners, the Horned Frogs are playing Oklahoma for the second time in three Big 12 games.
*The Horned Frogs are playing their third top-25 opponent in five games this season.
*As TCU's head coach, Gary Patterson is 14-11 against ranked opponents. He is 6-6 versus top-10 teams.
*Patterson is 1-2 as a head coach versus Oklahoma. The Horned Frogs won 17-10 in Norman in the 2005 season opener before a 35-10 loss at OU in 2008. The Sooners' 24-17 win last year marked their first appearance in Fort Worth since 1998.
*With the 17-10 win in Norman in 2005, TCU gave Oklahoma one of its four home losses since 2001.
*The 2005 victory over the No. 5 Sooners began a stretch that has seen TCU go 4-2 in its last six games versus top-five opponents.

*Oklahoma holds an 8-4 series lead over TCU.
*The Horned Frogs are 3-2 in Norman versus the Sooners, 1-5 in Fort Worth and 0-1 in Oklahoma City.
*The first game in the series was in OKC in 1944 with the Sooners winning 34-19.
*In the last game between TCU and Oklahoma in Norman, the second-ranked Sooners jumped out to a 21-3 lead after the first quarter en route to a 35-10 victory on Sept. 27, 2008.
*TCU's 17-10 win at No. 5 Oklahoma in 2005 was, at the time, its first victory over an opponent ranked that high since a 6-0 decision at No. 1 Texas in 1961.

*TCU has two Oklahoma natives in sophomore offensive guard Jamelle Naff (Dell City) and sophomore starting defensive tackle Davion Pierson (Oklahoma City; Millwood High School).
*Naff is in a second-team position at left guard. He has played in all four games this season.
*Pierson is in his second year as a starter. He has played in all 17 games the last two seasons with 15 starts.

*TCU is 4-2 on the road in Big 12 games, including a 4-1 mark in its debut campaign last season.
*The Horned Frogs have won 16 of their last 18 conference road games.
*Since 2009, TCU is 20-3 in road contests.
*TCU's 24-6 record (.800) in road and neutral-site games since 2009 is the third-best mark nationally.

*TCU has just 10 scholarship seniors on this year's roster.
*Nearly 40 percent of players who have seen action for TCU this season are sophomores.
*The Horned Frogs have the nation's longest streak (10 games) for holding an opponent to a less than 60 percent completion percentage.
*The Horned Frogs top the Big 12 in sacks (15) while ranking fifth nationally at 3.75 per game. TCU is also No. 1 in the conference and No. 5 in the country in interceptions (nine).
*TCU has allowed a total of 59 rushing yards in its last two games.
*TCU is the lone school in the nation to rank in the top 10 in kickoff return average (31.2 yards) and punt returns (20.1 yards).
*Since the start of the 2012 season, TCU All-America cornerback Jason Verrett leads the nation in passes defended (29).
*Tailback B.J. Catalon is one of just two players (Tre Mason, Auburn) in the nation to have a rushing touchdown and kickoff return for a touchdown this season.
*Quarterback Trevone Boykin is one of just four sophomores nationally with at least 2,000 career yards passing and 500 yards rushing.
