PHILADELPHIA, Pa. -- The Maxwell Award has added TCU running back Darius Anderson and quarterback Kenny Hill to its watch list, while defensive end Ben Banogu now appears on the Chuck Bednarik Award Watch List.

The Maxwell Award is presented to the nation's top collegiate player, while the Bednarik Award recognizes the country's best defensive performer.

Anderson tops TCU and is fourth in the Big 12 in rushing with 465 yards on a 6.0 per carry mark. His six rushing touchdowns are tied for the conference lead. He had a career-best 160 yards and three touchdowns in the Horned Frogs' 44-31 win at then-No. 6 Oklahoma State.

Hill's 69.0 completion percentage is on pace to set a TCU season record and ranks 10th in the nation. He is also 21st in the FBS in passing efficiency with a 154.4 rating. In Saturday's 31-24 victory over then-No. 23 West Virginia, Hill became just the second Big 12 player in history to run for a touchdown, throw for a score and catch a TD pass in a conference game.

Banogu has team-high totals of seven tackles for loss and four sacks, which place second in the Big 12. He also has two forced fumbles. He had a sack and three quarterback hurries in the win over West Virginia. The junior from McKinney, Texas, is in his first season at TCU after transferring from ULM.

During the preseason, the Maxwell Award named TCU running back Kyle Hicks to its watch list. The Bednarik Award previously selected TCU linebackers Travin Howard and Ty Summers.
