*Dating back to last season, TCU's 14-game winning streak ranks second nationally behind Ohio State (19).
*TCU's 14 straight wins ties a school record set in 1937-38 and 2008-09.
*The Horned Frogs have a 10-game winning streak in Big 12 games.
*TCU is 36-3 as a top-10 team under head coach Gary Patterson, including 25-1 when in the top 5.
*Since 2000, TCU's 23-1 record (.958) as an Associated Press Top 5 team is the best mark nationally. The Horned Frogs have a 20-game winning streak as an AP Top 5 squad.
*TCU has opened 6-0 for the third time in the last seven years and fourth time overall in 15 seasons under Patterson.
*Patterson is 2-1 versus Iowa State.

*Since 2009, TCU has the nation's third-best road record (28-7, .800).

*TCU head coach Gary Patterson's first game on the Horned Frogs' sideline was a 31-21 victory at Iowa State in 1998. Patterson was TCU's defensive coordinator at the time.
*Trevone Boykin's first collegiate start at quarterback came in Iowa State's 2012 visit to Amon G. Carter Stadium. Boykin, a redshirt freshman at the time, spent the majority of the game week taking snaps at tailback in practice before becoming TCU's starting quarterback for the game.
*Boykin had a career-high three rushing touchdowns, including the game-winning 1-yard score with 38 seconds to play, on just five carries in a 21-17 win at Iowa State in 2013.
*Boykin had a career-high 559 yards of total offense (460 passing, 55 receiving, 44 rushing), the second-best single-game total in TCU history, in last year's 55-3 win over Iowa State. He passed for four touchdowns while adding a receiving score.

*TCU's three road games this season have seen the largest crowd ever in Minnesota's TCF Bank Stadium (54,147), second-best at Texas Tech's Jones AT&T Stadium (61,283) and third-largest at Kansas State's Bill Snyder Family Stadium (53,671).

*TCU is the only school in the nation this season with three road wins at Power Five programs.
*The Horned Frogs are third nationally in scoring offense (51.0 points per game) and total offense (615.5 yards per game). TCU has scored at least 50 points in a school record five straight games.
*Trevone Boykin ranks second nationally in total offense at 411.5 yards per game.
*Boykin has led a game-winning drive on TCU's final possession in each of the last two road contests (Texas Tech and Kansas State).
*Josh Doctson is second in the nation with 877 yards receiving and 10 touchdown catches. His 50 receptions are third.
*Seven defensive starters and three starting wide receivers have been sidelined this season.
*TCU leads the nation with 29 freshmen (14 true, 15 redshirt) having seen action this season.
