*TCU travels to No. 21/17 Oklahoma State for a Saturday 11 a.m. contest on FOX.
*By inheriting Texas A&M's Big 12 schedule, in which the Aggies owed the Cowboys an extra home game, the Horned Frogs are playing in Stillwater for the second straight season. Oklahoma State's first Big 12 visit to TCU and Fort Worth will be in 2014.
*The Horned Frogs are playing their fourth current top-25 opponent in seven games this season.
*As TCU's head coach, Gary Patterson is 14-12 against ranked opponents.
*The game features the all-time winningest coaches at both schools. Patterson has 119 victories at TCU, while Mike Gundy has 71 for Oklahoma State.
*TCU has an 11 a.m. kickoff for the second straight week and fourth time in seven games this season. The Horned Frogs are 5-1 in 11 a.m. games over the last two years.
*TCU is leaving Texas for just the second time this season. Both trips have been to Oklahoma in the last two weeks. TCU played at OU on Oct. 5.

*Oklahoma State holds a 12-9-2 edge in the all-time series with TCU. The first meeting came in 1915 with the Cowboys taking a 13-0 decision in Fort Worth.
*TCU is 3-6 versus Oklahoma State in Stillwater, 5-4-2 in Fort Worth, 1-1 in a pair of meetings (1943, 1946) in Oklahoma City and 0-1 in Dallas (1945 Cotton Bowl).
*Prior to last season, the Horned Frogs and Cowboys had not met since a 27-22 Oklahoma State victory in 1993.
*TCU's last win in the series was a 13-11 decision in 1992, the last time the teams met in Fort Worth.

*TCU safeties coach Chad Glasgow was a three-year letterman (1991-93) at linebacker for Oklahoma State. He was also a graduate assistant (1994-95) under former head coach Bob Simmons.
*TCU wide receivers coach Curtis Luper played at Oklahoma State (1984-87) before later returning to Stillwater as a Cowboys' assistant coach (2005-08).

*Both Oklahoma natives on TCU's 2013 roster are sophomores and in the starting lineup: offensive guard Jamelle Naff (Dell City) and defensive tackle Davion Pierson (Oklahoma City; Millwood High School).
*Naff's first two career starts have come in the last two games.
*Pierson is in his second year as a starter. He has played in all 19 games the last two seasons with 17 starts.

*TCU is 4-3 on the road in its Big 12 history.
*Since 2009, TCU has the nation's fourth-best road record at 16-3 (.842).
*TCU's 24-7 mark (.774) in road and neutral-site games since 2009 is the third-best record nationally.
*The Horned Frogs entered their Oct. 5 Oklahoma game with the nation's longest road winning streak (five games) versus Associated Press top-25 teams.

*TCU has just 10 scholarship seniors on this year's roster.
*Over 40 percent of players who have seen action for TCU this season are sophomores.
*The Horned Frogs played three current top-20 teams (LSU, Texas Tech, Oklahoma) in their opening six games. Against both LSU and Oklahoma, TCU had the ball with an opportunity to take the lead in the fourth quarter. The Horned Frogs and Texas Tech were tied with less than four minutes to play.
*TCU tops the Big 12 and is fifth nationally with its average of 3.7 sacks per game.
*TCU has held 11 of its last 12 opponents to a less than 60 percent completion percentage.
*Since 2012, TCU All-America cornerback Jason Verrett leads the nation in passes defended (33).
*TCU is the lone school in the nation to rank in the top five in kickoff return average (30.3 yards) and top 20 in punt returns (14.1 yards).
