BALTIMORE, Md. -- The Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award has announced TCU's Kenny Hill as one of 10 finalists for its 2017 recipient.

Named after the NFL legend, the Golden Arm Award is presented annually by the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Educational Foundation, Inc.

Hill's 67.8 completion percentage this season ranks eighth in the nation and is on pace to set a TCU record. He is 19th in the country in passing efficiency with a 151.9 rating. He has 15 touchdown passes.

A senior from Southlake, Texas, Hill is key in TCU ranking second nationally in third-down conversions at 52.9 percent. He has a 69.2 completion mark on third-down passing this season. Over the last three games, his completion percentage is 72.4 on third downs for 386 yards, four touchdowns and 14 first downs.

In a 31-24 victory over West Virginia, Hill became only the fourth player in Big 12 history, and second in a conference game, to rush for a touchdown, throw for a score and catch a TD pass.

No. 8 TCU hosts Texas Saturday at 6:15 p.m. on ESPN.
