TUCSON, Ariz.--TCU found itself with a piece of the team lead as play was suspended midway through Round 2 of the Arizona Intercollegiate on Monday at Vistoso Golf Club. Sophomore Julien Brun tops all Horned Frogs on the individual leaderboard in a tie for third place.

Most of the 15 teams competing in the tournament have between three to five holes remaining in the second round, which will resume with a shotgun start Tuesday at 8 a.m. MST. The final round will begin immediately after the second round is completed.

The Frogs, making their spring season debut, sit atop the team standings alongside Arizona State at -4. Among the squads in pursuit are No. 1 Cal (-2), No. 5 New Mexico (E) and tournament host Arizona (+2). TCU completed Round 1 in sole possession of first place with a 4-under-par 280, one shot in front of Cal. The Frogs were even par as darkness set in during their second round.

Brun, currently at -5 for the tournament, is -3 in his second round after posting a 2-under 69 to begin the day. He posted five birdies and three bogeys in the opening round before playing bogey-free in his second 18 prior to play being suspended. Brun trails the individual leader, Cal's Joel Stalter (-8), by three strokes entering the final day.

Cole led a late Frogs charge in Round 1 to push TCU into the early lead. He posted seven birdies in 10 holes to finish the first 18 in second place with a 4-under 67. He currently finds himself in sole possession of fifth place with two holes remaining with an even-par Round 2.

Senior Pontus Gad also experienced a solid day in his first competition of the season. He currently sits in a tie for 15th place at +1 thanks to an even-par opening round and +1 score through 15 holes of Round 2. Fellow senior Daniel Jennevret, who is tied for 30th (+4), has rounded out the scoring with an opening-round, 2-over 73 and +2 score so far in Round 2.

Also in competition for TCU are freshman Paul Barjon, who owns a share of 45th place (+7), and sophomore Sarosh Adi, who is tied for 64th (+10) while playing as an individual entry.
