TCU Completes Round Two in Hawaii

WAIKOLOA, Hawaii – With one round to play, the TCU men’s golf team is in seventh place at the Amer Ari Invitational.

All six Horned Frogs that competed shot at or under par at the Waikoloa Kings’ Course. They were led by junior Pierre Mazier who shot 3-under 69 on Friday and is tied for 12th entering the final 18 on Saturday at 5-under 139.

Junior Stefano Mazzoli shot even-par 72 to move his score to 3-under 141. Junior Turner MacLean is also at 3-under 141 after shooting 1-under 71 Friday. Both Mazzoli and MacLean are tied for 23rd.

Juniors Hayden Springer and Triston Fisher each shot even-par 72. Springer is tied for 43rd and Fisher, who is playing as an individual, is tied for 55th.

Junior David Ravetto shot 2-under 70 to move up 22 spots from Friday and is tied for 63rd.

As a team, the Frogs shot 6-under 282 and are shooting -13 for the tournament. TCU is one shot back of Oregon and No. 16 Texas (-14) for fifth. No. 2 Oklahoma State leads the 18-team field at 29-under 547.
