PALM DESERT, Calif. - Julien Brun and Chelso Barrett led the TCU men's golf team on Friday with rounds of even par as the Horned Frogs completed the opening day of the Wyoming Cowboy Desert Intercollegiate in 14th place.

TCU carded a five-over round of 293 on the opening 18 holes and is just four strokes out of sixth position.

Brun and Barrett both carried over their impressive performances from earlier this month in Hawaii where they notched top-10 finishes, firing even-par rounds of 72 as the pair of Frogs have yet to record a round over par in 72 holes this spring.

Sarosh Adi, a junior from Plano, Texas, also continued his solid play of late, registering a 2-over 74 to round out the opening day in a tie for 58th spot.

Sophomore Paul Barjon (+3) and freshman Giulio Castagnara (+9) rounded out play for the Frogs, while freshman Stephen Griggs competed as an individual and carded a season-low 77.

The Frogs continue play with the second of three rounds on Saturday.
