TCU Finishes Strong at Tucson National

TUCSON, Ariz. - The TCU men's golf team fired a five-under 283 to climb three spots into eighth place in the final round at the Tucson National Invitational Tournament on Sunday at Catalina Course.
The Horned Frogs were seven-under over the final 36 holes and surged ahead of No. 17 Texas A&M on the final two holes to finish at 4-over for the tournament.
Sophomore Paul Barjon led the charge, carding a season-low 68 fueled by six birdies on the final eight holes. Barjon climbed 23 spots on the final day to 28th spot with his third sub-70 round of the season.
Junior standout Julien Brun also caught fire on the back nine with three birdies on the final five holes for a 2-under 70, putting him into a tie with Barjon for 28th place. The sub-par round was the 10th of the season for Brun and the fourth in seven final rounds.
Junior Sarosh Adi rounded out the scoring for the Frogs with a 2-over 74, highlighted by three-straight birdies on the back nine. At three-over, the Frisco, Texas, native recorded his second-best finish of the season in 43rd spot.
