TCU Finishes NCAA Regional Play

COLLEGE GROVE, Tenn. – TCU’s men’s golf team wrapped up its 28th consecutive NCAA Regional with an 11th place finish Wednesday at College Grove, Tenn.
Windy conditions mid-day made for higher scores than the previous two days at The Grove. The Horned Frogs shot 16-over 304 on Wednesday and 31-over 895 for the tournament.
Sophomore Triston Fisher (Southlake, Texas) led the Frogs for the second time this season. He shot 2-over 74 for the round and 5-over 221 for the tournament to finish tied for 24th.
Sophomore Pierre Mazier (France) was 5-over 77 to finish 7-over 223 overall and tie for 34th place.
In his final round as a collegiate, senior Chelso Barrett (Keene, N.H.) shot 3-over 75. He tied for 46th at 9-over 225.
Sophomore Stefano Mazzoli (Italy) shot 6-over 78 on Wednesday and 13-over 229 overall to finish 57th. Sophomore Turner MacLean (Fort Worth) finished his final round 7-over 79. He shot 14-over 230 and finished tied for 62nd place.
