PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. -- TCU men's golfer senior Chelso Barrett carded the Frogs best round of the day and stayed in the top 10 at the Carmel Cup at Pebble Beach Golf Links, but the Frogs slipped as a team.

TCU was in second place after Friday's first round, but shot a 365 and slipped to seventh place in the loaded eight-team field after Saturday's second round.

Round of the Day
A day after shooting a 3-under 69, Barrett carded a 1-under 71 and sits at 4-under par for the tournament, placing him a tie for 10th place, five shots off the lead.

Barrett was 2-under through the front nine, but fell back to 1-under with bogeys on 10 and 16 and a birdie on 13.

Other Notables
- Just like in Friday's first round, two Horned Frogs eagled the par-5 second hole. This time freshman Jeong Weon Ko and sophomore Pierre Mazier posted eagles on the famous course.

- The Carmel Cup allows teams an extra player in their lineup, so all teams are playing with six golfers with the top five scores from each round counting toward the team score.
