WINDERMERE, Fla. - The TCU men's golf team completed play at the Isleworth Collegiate Invitational with a 15th-place showing on Tuesday at Isleworth Golf and Country Club. Tuesday's final round marked the completion of the fall season as the Horned Frogs will open the 2014 campaign on Feb. 5 in Kona, Hawaii.

The Horned Frogs entered the final 18 holes in ninth spot but dropped with a final round of 310 on a day that saw only two squads shoot under par. Alabama, the defending national champions, claimed the team title, pacing a field that consisted of 14 programs ranked in the top 50.

Junior Julien Brun led TCU for the second-straight day with a 2-over 74 following his season-high round of 68 on Monday, securing a seventh-place finish overall with a 2-under 214. The Antibes, France, native notched his second top-10 finish of the fall season and the 20th overall in his illustrious career.

Freshman Chelso Barrett put together another solid round on Tuesday with a 3-over 75 to finish in a tie for 28th overall at 4-over 220, marking his best collegiate finish to date. The Keene, N.H., product opened the tournament on Sunday with a career-best round of 70 and was one of only 10 competitors to card a round of 70 or lower.

Sarosh Adi (+14), Paul Barjon (+19) and Giulio Castagnara (+20) rounded out the scoring for the Frogs, finishing 62nd, 71st and 72nd, respectively.

TCU opens the spring season with the Amer Ari Invitational in Kona, Hawaii, on Feb. 5-7, and will compete in six total tournaments in Palm Desert, Calif., Las Vegas, Nev., Tucson, Ariz., Stanford, Calif., and Augusta, Ga., prior to the Big 12 Championship in Trinity, Texas.
