TCU Heads East for Regular-Season Finale

SPARTANBURG, S.C. - The TCU men's golf team will compete in its final tournament of the regular season at the 26th annual Coca-Cola Wofford Invitational on Monday and Tuesday at the Country Club of Spartanburg.

Play begins with 36 holes on Monday at 8:30 a.m. CT, followed by 18 holes on Tuesday beginning at 8:30 a.m.

TCU is joined on the par-72, 6,648-yard course by Appalachian State, Elon, Francis Marion, Gardner-Webb, High Point, James Madison, Lamar, Longwood, Presbyterian, Radford, Stetson, USC Upstate, Western Carolina and Wofford.

Filling out the TCU lineup card this weekend will be juniors Julien Brun and Sarosh Adi, sophomore Paul Barjon and freshmen Chelso Barrett and Giulio Castagnara.

Julien Brun
• Currently ranked as high as No. 8 nationally by Scratch Players world amateur ranking.
• Claimed his seventh-career title at the Desert Intercollegiate on Feb. 23.
• Has finished in the top 12 in eight of 10 tournaments this season.
• Has earned a 71.13 stroke average in 10 tournaments this season and is averaging a 70.40 in the final round this season.
• Named a finalist last season for The Ben Hogan Award.
• Lone two-time First-Team All-American (PING) in program history.

Chelso Barrett
• Carded second-lowest round of the season for the Frogs with a 66 in the opening round in Hawaii.
• Earned first-career top-10 finishes in back-to-back tournaments on Feb. 8 and Feb. 23.
• Currently has a 74.11 stroke average in his first nine collegiate tournaments.
• Has fired three sub-70 rounds, all coming this spring.
• Competed in nine USGA events prior to beginning his collegiate career, including a runner-up finish to PGA standout Jordan Spieth at the 2011 U.S. Junior Amateur.

Paul Barjon
• Has registered a 72.78 stroke average in six tournaments in the spring compared to 75.33 stroke average during the fall.
• Fired season lows for a round (67) and 54-hole total (214) at The Goodwin in Stanford, Calif.
• Has recorded three sub-70 rounds in last three tournaments.
• Carded a final-round 71 to earn fifth-place finish at Crooked Stick during the fall season.
• Posted back-to-back rounds of 66 to claim first tournament win at Stanford as a freshman.

Giulio Castagnara
• Carded a season-low 69 at Tucson National Invitational in March.
• Finished at 3-over in the spring opener in Hawaii, including an opening-round 70.
• Has competed in eight of nine tournaments in his first collegiate season.
• Earned a career-best 29th-place finish at the Crooked Stick Intercollegiate.

Sarosh Adi
• Posted second-lowest career totals for a round (71) and 54-hole total (215) at The Goodwin in Stanford, Calif.
• Recorded best tournament of his career earlier in Hawaii with rounds of 72, 71 and a career-low 67 for a top-30 finish.
• Failed to reach par or better in only three of 54 holes in Hawaii.
• Competed in eight of nine tournaments this season.
• Has seen action in 14 collegiate tournaments in his career.
