FORT WORTH, Texas - TCU golfer Julien Brun has been named to the All-Big 12 Men's Golf Team, the league office announced on Thursday. Brun has earned all-conference accolades all three seasons at TCU, becoming just the sixth Horned Frog to achieve the feat.

Brun is one of 10 golfers in the Big 12 to earn the recognition and joins four others as repeat selections.

Brun's latest honors come a day after the junior earned Big 12 Golfer of the Month accolades where he posted a 69.9 stroke average during April and claimed the Big 12 individual title.

The Antibes, France, native registered one of the most dominating performances in Big 12 Championship history over the weekend, claiming the individual title by nine strokes for the third-largest margin of victory in tournament history.

Brun's 72-hole score of 11-under 277 was just one stroke behind the Big 12 record of 276 by Oklahoma State's Morgan Hoffman in 2009, while setting a new Whispering Pines Golf Club course record. Brun posted back-to-back rounds of 66, the lowest score in all four rounds, while his final-round 66 tied the Big 12 Championship mark for the lowest fourth-round score. Brun rolled in 14 birdies against just two bogeys over the final 36 holes.

Brun, tabbed No. 15 nationally in the Golfweek/Sagarin rankings, increased his career tournament victories to eight, five more than the next closest Horned Frogs in program history. Brun has earned a 70.78 stroke average this season and has finished in the top 12 in 10 of 12 tournaments during the 2013-14 campaign.

Selections for the NCAA Regionals will be announced Monday, May 5 from 9-10 a.m. CT on the Golf Channel as the Frogs look for their 25th-straight postseason bid.
