FORT WORTH, Texas -- TCU head football coach Gary Patterson and former Horned Frog All-American and current PGA standout J.J. Henry were paired together at Wednesday's Crowne Plaza Invitational Pro-Am at Colonial Country Club.

Patterson received nine National Coach of the Year honors as he led the 2009 Horned Frogs to a 12-1 record, No. 6 national ranking and their first BCS appearance.

Henry was inducted last fall into the TCU Lettermen's Association Hall of Fame. He was a three-time All-American and the runner-up for the 1998 NCAA Championship. Henry was named by Golfweek as the 1998 National Co-Collegiate Golfer of the Year.

Henry recorded a hole-in-one on the 17th hole in the final round of the 1998 WAC Championship to win both the team and individual title.
