Men's Golf Closes Fall Season at Isleworth

FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU men's golf team will complete the fall portion of its 2013-14 season with the three-day, 54-hole Isleworth Collegiate Invitational beginning on Sunday at the Isleworth Golf and Country Club in Windermere, Fla.
The Horned Frogs, ranked No. 48 in the latest Golfweek/Sagarin national poll, will compete in a stacked field that includes No. 1 Alabama, No. 4 California, No. 6 Illinois, No. 11 New Mexico, No. 15 Texas, No. 16 UCF, No. 18 Arkansas, No. 23 Vanderbilt, No. 29 Florida State, No. 31 GRU-Augusta, No. 35 Texas Tech, No. 47 UNLV, Colorado State and North Florida.
TCU will begin play on the par-72, 7,387-yard course on Sunday with 18-hole rounds beginning at 7 a.m., CDT each day.
The Frogs recently competed at the Crooked Stick Intercollegiate, using a solid final round to finish fifth ahead of top-50 squads Illinois and Florida.
Barjon and Brun led TCU over the final 18 holes as two of only seven competitors in the field to fire sub-par rounds. Barjon carded a 71 to climb 10 spots and finish fifth overall, marking his second-career top-five finish, while Brun also posted a 71 to place 12th.
Barrett enters his third tournament of his collegiate career while fellow newcomer Castagnara is set for his second collegiate tournament. The pair of freshmen were solid at Crooked Stick last week, tying for 29th overall.
Adi returns to the lineup after competing in the season-opening tournament in Albuquerque. The Frisco, Texas, native posted a 73.25 stroke average in four tournaments as a sophomore.
