Brun Honored by Global Golf Post

FORT WORTH, Texas - TCU men's golf standout Julien Brun recently added another honor to his long list of accolades, earning Global Golf Post All-Amateur Team Honorable Mention recognition.
Brun was one of only 32 amateurs worldwide to be honored by Global Golf Post, which is a weekly international digital golf publication.
The Antibes, France, native entered the 2013-14 season as one of the most decorated student-athletes in program history, holding school records in stroke average (70.41) and tournament wins (six) while placing as a finalist for the 2013 Ben Hogan Award, given to the top men's player in college and amateur golf.
Brun posted a successful 2013 fall campaign, earning a 71.67 stroke average in three tournaments with two top-ten finishes. The two-time First-Team All-American (PING) recently competed in the prestigious Sun Bowl Western Refining College All-America Golf Classic, where he carded a season-low 66 in the final round to notch another top-10 finish among the nation's top talent.
The Horned Frogs will compete in the first of seven tournaments during the spring season on Feb. 5-7 at the Amer Ari Invitational in Kona, Hawaii.
