Dewi Hardman, a native of Great Britain, is the newest member of the TCU soccer staff. Hardman was named a graduate assistant coach in June of 2001.
Hardman came to the United States in 1986 to play collegiate soccer for Wake Forest University for U.S. coaching legend Walt Chyzowych. Hardman was part of Chyzowych's first recruiting class at Wake Forest.
Hardman's Demon Deacon teams were extremely successful, advancing to the NCAA Tournament on two occasions. During his senior year of 1989, Wake Forest claimed the Atlantic Coast Conference and was ranked as high as third in the nation.
In two coaching stints at his alma mater, Wake Forest advanced to the NCAAs two times in four seasons.
Hardman, 34, also has coached a pair of North Carolina club teams to state titles. A political science graduate, Hardman taught high school social studies for three years in North Carolina.
He and his wife Cameron recently moved to Fort Worth.
