FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU men's soccer team fell to the UMKC Kangaroos 3-2 Saturday at the SMU Nike Tournament. Junior forward Aaron Miranda and sophomore midfielder Will Shelton each scored for the Frogs.

TCU's goals came in the first half of play with Miranda scoring first at 30 minutes off an assist from junior forward Matt Chambers on a center feed which was tapped in for a goal. Shelton scored four minutes later on an unassisted goal at the 34 minute mark.

Sophomore goalkeeper Justin Durst defended the goal for the Frogs and recorded six saves with UMKC outshooting TCU 16-7.

Next up for the Frogs is a trip back to SMU where they will actually take on the Mustangs next Friday Sept. 20 at 7:30 p.m.. The Frogs resume home play on Sept. 27 against Cincinnati at 4:30 p.m.
