FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU men's soccer team shut out East Carolina 2-0 Sunday at Garvey-Rosenthal Stadium. The Frogs snap a four-game losing streak that began Sept. 29. The Frogs improve their record to 3-11-0 (2-4-0).

TCU's first goal came from junior forward Aaron Miranda (his second of the season) on an assist from junior midfielder John Morrell at the 24 minute mark in the first half.

The second goal came off a penalty kick by senior forward Michael Blackburn (his second of the season) with about 15 minutes left to play in the second half.

Senior goalkeeper Michael Lahoud took the net for the Frogs and recorded five saves in 90 minutes.

In the Oct. 17 C-USA standings, ECU stood at eighth of 11 teams and TCU was listed at 10th of 11 teams. The Frogs hope to move up in the standings to make it to the C-USA tournament in mid-November.

The Frogs continue home action against Saint Louis on Wednesday Oct. 23 at 3:00 p.m. at Garvey-Rosenthal Stadium.
