SPRING 2015 (FRESHMAN)
Posted a 20-9 singles record and 18-10 record in doubles in his inaugural spring season for an overall mark of 38-19 … went 17-8 during dual match play in singles and was ranked every week of the season … ranked as high as No. 24 and finished the season ranked at No. 25 after advancing to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Singles Championship and earning All-American status … became the second freshman and first since 2001 to earn All-America honors in singles … posted eight wins against ranked opponents during the spring … played mainly at the No. 1, 2 and 3 positions … went 6-7 at No. 1, 3-1 at No. 2 and a perfect 8-0 at the No. 3 spot … finished the season on a 12-match winning streak before dropping a three-set match in the NCAA Singles Championship to No. 9 Quentin Monaghan on Notre Dame … went 2-1 in singles in Big 12 action with wins over opponents from Texas and Texas Tech … paired with Trevor Johnson and Guillermo Nuñez in doubles … went 15-5 with Johnson and 3-5 in dual matches with Nuñez … defeated four ranked opponents in doubles with all of them coming with Johnson … earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Doubles Championship with Johnson and advanced to the Round of 16 before losing to eventual NCAA Champions Lloyd Glasspool and Soren Hess-Olesen of Texas … played at the No. 1 and No. 2 positions in the doubles lineup and went 1-2 at the top spot and 16-7 at the No. 2 position … went 13-3 to end the season before starting the NCAA Championship … ranked every week in doubles with Johnson and was ranked as high as No. 15 … finished the season ranked No. 28 with Johnson.
FALL 2014 (FRESHMAN)
Competed in only three fall tournaments in his first semester at TCU and won the singles and doubles titles at the USTA/ITA Texas Regional Championships ... went 8-2 in singles and 8-2 in doubles for an overall record of 16-4 ... he became the third freshman in the fall of 2014 to sweep both titles at a regional championship ... by pairing with fellow freshman Trevor Johnson, the duo became only the second all freshmen doubles tandem in the history of the regionals to snag the title ... won six straight singles matches to start his career and defeated two ranked players on his way to the singles crown at regionals ... defeated opponents from LSU and Ole Miss at the FGCU Spring Invite ... paired with Trevor Johnson and Guillermo Nuñez in doubles action during the fall ... went 7-2 with Johnson and 1-0 with Nuñez ... defeated two ranked opponents with Johnson.
