Finished with an overall record of 24-11 and was one of five TCU players to record over 20 wins ... entered the spring season ranked No. 118 and climbed as high as No. 60 after starting the season 10-1 ... defeated three ranked opponents ... highest victory came with a 6-3, 6-3 victory over No. 28 Stephane Piro of Florida ... string of 10 straight wins bumped Lugones up in the ITA rankings and remained ranked the rest of the spring ... also notched ranked victories over No. 81 Campbell Johnson of Cal (7-6(1), 6-4) and No. 41 Andrew Harris of Oklahoma (6-4, 6-3) ... besides the defeat of Harris, Lugones also defeated Arjun Kadhe of Oklahoma State for his second conference win ... played mainly at No. 3 doubles with Hudson Blake ... also paired up with Trey Daniel, Jhonathan Gonzalez, Rodolfo Bustamante and Andres Alfonzo ... went 13-11 in the spring in doubles action ... strung together six straight wins with Blake from Feb. 21 to March 20 ... grabbed conference wins in doubles over Oklahoma State and Texas Tech.
FALL 2013 (JUNIOR)
Compiled a 6-2 record in singles and a 3-2 record in doubles during fall competition ... won three matches in the pre-qualifying bracket at the ITA All-American Championships to advance to the qualifying bracket ... won two matches at the USTA/ITA Texas Regional with straight set wins over Sebastian Job of UT Pan Americna and Ricardo Mayagoita of Texas A&M Corpus Christi ... won all six of his fall singles matches in straight sets ... paired with Arnau Dachs and Rodolfo Bustamante in doubles action ... picked up two wins with Bustamante at the Regional to advance to the round of 16.
SPRING 2013 (SOPHOMORE)
Had an impressive 15-9 mark in singles play ... opened the season with four straight wins, with three of the victories coming in straight sets ... earned a victory in his only dual doubles match by pairing with Blake Wiggins for an 8-3 win over Parker Allen and Braxton Bates of Oral Roberts ... finished the season with wins in seven of the last nine singles matches ... notched his first ranked win of his career with a victory over No. 110 Johnny Grimal of Memphis with a 6-1, 6-1 take down ... also picked up a win over No. 96 Sudanwa Sitaram of Texas with a 6-4, 6-3 win ... defeated Hugo Dojas of Texas Tech 6-3, 4-6, 6-4 in the opening round of the Big 12 Championships
FALL 2012 (SOPHOMORE)
Finished 8-4 in singles play ... won his first four matches of the season, all at the ITA All-Americans Championships in Tulsa, Okla., to advance into the qualifying round of the tournament... opened the campaign with a 6-1, 7-6 win over Duke's Daniel McCall before beating Penn State's Russell Bader (3-6, 6-3, 7-5), one of his four comeback wins in the fall campaign ... completed his early-season streak with victories over Ole Miss' Adrian Forberg-Skoge (6-4, 6-2) and Furman's Andrew Mellow (2-6, 6-2, 6-4) ... followed up his first loss with three more victories in the USTA/ITA Texas Regional Championships in Fort Worth, beginning with a 6-4, 6-1 win over UT Arlington's Carlos Arbiza ... also earned consecutive wins in that tournament over Texas A&M's Jackson Withrow (3-6, 6-3, 6-2) and Texas's Andrew Korinek (3-6, 6-3, 7-5) ... swept Princeton's Augie Bloom (6-4, 6-4) at the UT Invitational.
SPRING 2012 (FRESHMAN)
Joined the Frogs in the fall and made an immediate impact in the singles lineup ... Posted a 4-1 mark in Mountain West play on his way to All-Mountain West accolades ... Went 13-8 overall during the spring, including closing the year on a four-match winning streak ... His first collegiate win was a 7-6, 6-4 win at Mississippi State ... Followed with a 6-4, 6-4 triumph the next day over Michael Thompson of Alabama ... Started his first four-match winning streak with a 6-3, 6-3 downing of Texas Tech's Vitor Manzini ... Continued with wins over Nicolas Moreno of UT Arlington, Junior Ore of Texas A&M and Carlos Bermudez of Arizona ... All of his Mountain West wins came in straight-set fashion ... Clinched TCU's win in the Mountain West quarterfinals with a 7-6 (4), 6-4 win over UNLV's Tamas Batyi at No. 2 singles ... Played sparingly in doubles, notching four wins against only one loss
