FRESHMAN (2003-04): Hart played in his first collegiate tournament Sept. 26 at the Baylor Intercollegiate...Lost a three-setter to Juan Pablo Altorre in his initial contest as a Horned Frog, 5-7, 6-2, 6-4...Fell in consolation play to Teddy Diblasi of Texas Tech in straight sets, 6-4, 6-2...At the Texas-Arlington Invitational Oct. 3, Hart lost his first match with Josey Trimmier of UTA, 6-2, 6-1, but came back to notch his first career victory by dispatching Oliver Steil of Texas-Pan American in straights, 6-4, 6-4...Fell short in his final match of the tourney against Juan Escalante (Wichita State)...Was downed in the opening round of the ITA South Central Regional Championships Oct. 24 by Petri van Rensburg of UTA, but it was not the last time the two would see one another...Took on van Rensburg the next day in consolation play and lost a tough three-set battle with the Maverick, 10-4, in a super tiebreaker...Narrowly missed picking up a triumph versus Brandon Nicholson of LSU at the Texas A&M Invitational Nov. 7, dropping the contest by a 7-5, 7-6(6) count...Was almost victorious in his final singles match of the fall with Alex Strom of Texas A&M, as he lost by scores of 6-7, 6-4, (10-1)...Ended the fall with a 1-8 singles record...Played doubles almost exclusively with classmate Craig Stopa, who also redshirted as a true freshman...The duo went 1-6 together...Their lone victory came against Paulson and Vickers from Texas Tech, 8-6, at the ITA Regional Oct. 25...Hart and Stopa gave two teams from Texas all they could handle at the regional as well...They fell by counts of 9-7 and 9-8 to Synder/Tobias and Clinton/Mack...Hart also played one doubles match with Andrew Ulrich as his partner...Did not play during the spring.

FRESHMAN (2002-03): Redshirted as a true freshman.

HIGH SCHOOL/JUNIOR: Lettered in tennis under head coach George Averytt at Mansfield High School...Earned all-region honors his senior year...Tabbed all-area his sophomore and senior seasons as well...Picked up team Most Valuable Player accolades his final two years...Compiled a school record 114 victories during his high school days...Finished as the runner-up at the Florida Open in doubles.
