CHATTANOOGA, Tenn.

TCU sophomore Jacopo Tezza landed in the round of 64 Friday at the Icy Hot/ITA All-American Championships' pre-qualifying tournament at the Champions Club in Chattanooga, Tenn. Tezza defeated a pair of contenders from Tennessee Tech and UC-Santa Barbara in straight sets to advance. Horned Frogs Rafael Abreu and Robert Gallman both fell in their opening round matches. Ole Miss' Fredrik Aarum represents the next challenge for Tezza tomorrow at 8 a.m. CDT. Frogs' doubles teams of Gallman/Tezza and Abreu/Fabrizio Sestini will begin play tomorrow as well at 10 a.m. CDT.
