CHATTANOOGA, Tenn.

TCU Horned Frog sophomore Jacopo Tezza saw his five-match unbeaten streak come to a close Wednesday at the Icy Hot/ITA All-American Championships in Chattanooga, Tenn. The sophomore from Verona, Italy, was dropped by No. 69 Thomas Schoeck of Boise State in straight sets, 6-4, 7-5, in the round of 32. Tezza was attempting to join senior and No. 47-rated teammate Alex Menichini for the main draw, which begins Oct. 9. Menichini received an exemption from the pre-qualifying and qualifying rounds. Draws for the primary event have yet to be determined.
