FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU men's tennis team is among 16 teams participating in the Rice Invitational Jan. 17-19 in Houston.

The 34th ranked Frogs open the spring 2003 season against Baylor (No.3), Colorado (No. 62), Florida State (No. 50), Lamar, Louisiana-Lafayette, Nebraska, New Orleans, Ohio State (No. 24), Portland, Rice (No. 36), SMU (No. 30), Texas (No. 12), Texas A&M (No. 13), Texas A&M Corpus Christi, and UT-Pan American.

Matches will begin at 8:30 a.m. and end around 9:00 p.m. daily at the Met Business and Sports Club. Admission is free.

The Frogs finished the 2002 spring season 11-12, and nationally ranked at No. 32. In the Conference USA tournament with a No. 1 seed, they finished fourth and appeared in their 12th consecutive NCAA tournament.
