TCU Notables
After starting the 2017 season on the road, TCU will begin 2018 at home to mark the fifth home opener under the leadership of head coach David Roditi. Four letterwinners, including All-Americans Alex Rybakov and Reese Stalder, return for the Frogs while sophomore Alastair Gray will be seeing his first dual match action of his collegiate career along with five freshmen.

Gray leads all players with a No. 23 ranking in the Oracle/ITA singles poll, while Rybakov checks in at No. 31. The pair also combine for the only doubles ranking on the team at No. 13. Gray led the team with an 8-2 mark in singles while Rybakov posted a 5-2 record. As a pair, Gray and Rybakov went 4-1 with two wins over ranked opponents during the fall.

Scouting the Wildcats
Abilene Christian has dropped both matches so far in the spring 2018 season with a 4-0 loss to SMU and a 4-1 decision to Texas Tech. The Wildcats have only scored one point on the season as they were able to score the doubles point against the Red Raiders. The pairings of Jonathan Sheehy and Josh Sheehy along with Paul Domanski and Hunter Holman boast the only wins on the season for ACU.

All-Time Series Records
Thursday’s match marks the ninth meeting all-time between TCU and Abilene Christian with the Frogs holding a perfect 8-0 record. The last meeting between the teams came in 2008 and TCU has swept the Wildcats in six of the matches. The match will also mark the seventh time the teams have faced off in Fort Worth.
