FORT WORTH – TCU’s men’s tennis team leads the nation in total attendance, average attendance and has the highest-attended match through the month of February.

The Horned Frogs top all teams with 2,883 fans having attended a TCU tennis match during January and February. Of the five home matches, an average of 576.6 fans spilled into the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center.

TCU’s Feb. 2 match against Texas A&M is the highest-attended single match in all of college tennis by a wide margin with an attendance of 1,425. The next highest-attended match saw 992 fans in attendance.

“We’re thrilled to have the highest attendance in the nation to this point,” TCU coach David Roditi said. “I truly believe we have the best atmosphere in all of college tennis and we look to stay at the top of this list starting with Saturday’s match.”

TCU returns to action Saturday when North Carolina visits the Friedman Tennis Center. First serve is set for 1 p.m. and will coincide with the TCU women’s team taking on Wichita State.
