FORT WORTH, Texas - Before heading out on a spring break road trip, the No. 33 TCU men's tennis team will welcome Penn to the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center on Thursday, March 8 for a match.

The Horned Frogs (6-3) and the Quakers (6-8) will begin competition at 5:30 p.m., on Thursday at the Bernard J. `Tut' Bartzen Varsity Courts with free pizza courtesy of Buffalo Bros., served in between doubles and singles action. Fans can also take part in a prize court after doubles that is sponsored by Steel City Pops.

TCU Notables
TCU went 1-1 last week after returning to action with a 4-0 victory at home over Tulsa to start competition before falling 5-2 in a tough battle on the road against No. 9 Illinois. The Frogs are now ranked No. 33 in the Oracle/ITA team poll with three of the four wins at home coming in sweeps.

Alastair Gray and Alex Rybakov are leading the team in wins and in rankings. The duo each have 11 singles wins and sit at No. 30 and No. 32, respectively, in the singles poll and also have the highest doubles ranking at No. 20 with a 4-1 mark. Trevor Johnson is ranked No. 72 and is 6-1 on the season, with Guillermo Nuñez and Rybakov rounding out the rankings at No. 41 in doubles with a three-match winning streak.

Scouting the Quakers
Penn is sitting at 6-8 on the season and currently on a tour of Texas and will make stops at Texas and UT Arlington before heading to Fort Worth. The Quakers came into their week of action with a two-match winning streak with victories over UNC Charlotte and Drexel. Kyle Mauter has played at the top spot all spring and has a 6-2 mark while Max Cancilla and Noah Makarome also each have six victories. In doubles, the pair of Josh Pampan and Nicholai Westergaard have four wins with all of them coming at the No. 2 spot while Mauter and Dmitry Shatalin have three wins on court one.

All-Time Series Records
Thursday's match will mark the first meeting all-time between TCU and Penn.
