Nichols recently earned his second career Mountain West Conference Player of the Week Award for his performance during the Frogs’ March 5 victory over No. 24 Tulsa.

Columbia, 7-3 this season, enters Tuesday riding a four-match winning streak that has helped the squad earn its season-high team ranking. The Lions are 2-2 thus far against ranked opponents with wins over No. 63 Binghamton and No. 67 Boston College. Jonathan Wong, 4-5 this spring, leads the Lions in singles at the No. 1 position. Mihai Nichifor is 7-2 this season when playing in the No. 2 slot with wins in each of his last seven dual matches.

TCU posted victories over the Lions in Fort Worth in each of the last two seasons, marking the only prior meetings in the all-time series. The Frogs won 5-2 in 2008 and 7-0 in 2009.
