FORT WORTH – TCU’s men’s tennis remained the nation’s leader in match attendance for the second-straight month after the release of the April attendance leaderboards.

“It’s a great testament to the work of our committee and our marketing team,” TCU coach David Roditi said. “The atmosphere they’ve created is the best in college tennis and I hope even more fans will come experience it this weekend.”

The Horned Frogs have seen 6,528 fans spill into the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center this season over the course of 13 matches. In March alone, 3,645 fans attended a TCU men’s tennis match.

TCU also leads in average attendance at its matches at 502.1 fans. TCU still boasts the highest-attended match in all of collegiate tennis this year with 1,425 fans saw TCU and Texas A&M do battle Feb. 2.

For March alone, TCU had the No. 2-attended match in the month with 570 fans at its doubleheader against Memphis and UTPA, as well as 480 fans at its doubleheader with Columbia and Prairie View A&M.

TCU returns home Saturday when it hosts Texas at the Friedman Tennis Center.
