FORT WORTH, Texas - Two top-15 showdowns highlight the Big 12 home opening weekend for the No. 9 TCU men's tennis team as the Horned Frogs are set to welcome No. 14 Oklahoma and No. 11 Oklahoma State on April 13 and 15, respectively, to the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center in Fort Worth.

The Frogs (14-3, 1-0 Big 12) and the Sooners (17-2, 2-0 Big 12) will begin competition at 5:30 p.m., on Friday at the Bernard J. `Tut' Bartzen Varsity Courts with the Cowboys (20-4, 2-0 Big 12) coming to town on Sunday at 1 p.m.

The TCU Tailgate will be in Lot 14 starting at 4 p.m., on Friday until one hour after the match and those in attendance can enjoy free tacos from Salsa Limon. Fans can also enjoy free pizza courtesy of Buffalo Bros., served in between doubles and singles action at both matches. The world-famous prize court will take place after doubles and is sponsored by Ol' South Pancake House and the Keep It In The Purple Committee.

TCU Notables
TCU is currently riding an eight-match winning streak that started on March 8 with a 6-1 victory over Penn. Six of the victories were over ranked opponents with the Frogs opening Big 12 action last weekend with a 4-2 win over No. 20 Texas in Austin.

Alex Rybakov is leading the way in singles and doubles with the junior holding down a No. 17 ranking with a 16-4 mark on the year and wins in eight of the last nine matches. Rybakov is also sitting at No. 6 in doubles with Guillermo Nuñez with the duo 9-2 on the year with four wins over ranked opponents. Alastair Gray has a No. 48 ranking in the singles poll while Trevor Johnson (No. 70) and Nuñez (No. 83) round out the rest of the singles rankings. Bertus Kruger and Reese Stalder pace the team in doubles with a 11-4 mark and a No. 63 ranking including an 8-2 record at the No. 3 spot.

Scouting the Sooners
Oklahoma is riding a winning streak of its own with five straight wins headed into Friday's match. The Sooners opened Big 12 play last weekend with a 4-2 win over Baylor before scoring a 4-1 victory over Texas Tech at home. Three Sooners are ranked in the Oracle/ITA singles poll with reigning two-time Big 12 Player of the Week Alexander Bakshi leading the way at No. 45 with an 11-2 mark this year. Ferran Calvo (No. 75) and Jake van Emburgh (No. 123) round out the other singles rankings with van Emburgh leading the team with a 13-2 mark this spring. Bakshi and van Emburgh hold down a No. 40 doubles ranking while Calvo pairs up with Adrian Oetzback for a No. 61 ranking.

Scouting the Cowboys
Oklahoma State has its own winning streak of six matches headed into the weekend as the Cowboys opened Big 12 play with a pair of wins over Texas Tech (4-0) and Baylor (4-3). Julian Cash and Artur Dubinski lead the Cowboys in singles with rankings of No. 49 and No. 71, respectively. Cash has 13 win including 10 at the top position while Dubinski boasts 18 overall wins. Cash is also ranked in doubles with two partners in Luke Hammond (No. 26) and Maxim Tybar (No. 79). Dubinski also find himself ranked in the doubles poll with Eleftherios Theodorou at No. 64.

All-Time Series Records
Friday's match will be the 25th meeting all-time between TCU and Oklahoma with the Frogs holding the advantage in the all-time series at 13-11. TCU has won the last four straight matches dating back to 2016 with a 4-0 sweep during the regular season last year and a 4-1 victory in the Big 12 Championship. This will be the 12th match played in Fort Worth and the third as Big 12 opponents with TCU leading the series played on the Bernard J. `Tut' Bartzen Varsity Courts at 7-4.

Sunday's showdown is the 22nd match between TCU and Oklahoma State all-time with the Frogs holding the slight advantage at 11-10. Since becoming conference opponents, TCU has picked up the victory in six of the seven matches played during the regular season or conference championship including the last five straight meetings. This will be the fifth match played in Fort Worth with the Cowboys holding a 3-2 advantage.
