The TCU men's tennis team will be in action at home this weekend, hosting the Southwest Conference Shootout at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center.

The three-day tournament will begin with doubles play at 10 a.m., Friday, followed by singles action. There will be four singles draws of eight players each and two eight-team doubles brackets. The field includes players from Rice, TCU, Texas, Texas Tech and UT Arlington.

The Horned Frogs have enjoyed a successful fall schedule. The doubles team of Paul Chappell and JT Sundling reached the Round of 16 at the ITA Texas Regionals at College Station, while Max Stevens claimed the consolations singles title. Earlier in the year, freshman Nick Chappell qualified for the singles main draw bracket at the USTA Futures Austin Hill Country Classic.
