Standish, who was a two-year starter and only the second true freshman to start more than 20 games as an Aggie at the guard position under head coach Gary Blair, will don the Purple and White after earning 2012 NCAA Raleigh Regional All-Tournament team accolades ... The 2012 Big 12 All-Freshman Team honoree played in 34 games, which included 21 starts, during her freshman season in College Station and led the Big 12 in 3-point field goal percentage by shooting 42.7 percent from behind the arc ... The Aggies leading scorer during the last six games of the 2011-12 campaign, averaging 12.8 point per game, Standish shot 54.1 percent from the field and 58.3 percent from beyond the arc in the last nine games of the season ... She scored an NCAA Tournament best and team-high 19 points with four assists and two steals against No. 5 Maryland in the NCAA Sweet 16 ... The 5-foot-8 guard, who dropped 12 points, while hitting four three-pointers in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament against Albany, notched 13 points, three assists and two rebounds in a victory over Oklahoma in the Big 12 Championship semifinals ... She also posted a career-high six 3-pointers, while tallying a career and game-high 25 points in the Big 12 Championship quarterfinals against Kansas.

Standish, who earned a gold medal on the 2009 USA Women's Basketball U16 National Team in Mexico City, was rated the No. 30 overall prospect in the class of 2011 by ESPN Hoopgurlz and as high as No. 7 overall by JumpOffPlus National Scouting Report ... The former four-star rated recruit was also honored as the No. 6 point guard in the country and No. 1 point guard in the Lone Star State ... The 2011 McDonald's High School All-America Nominee closed out her prestigious high school career at Colleyville Heritage garnering WBCA High School All-America honorable mention accolades ... A two-time TABC Class 5A All-State and All-Region selection, Standish averaged 23 points, six assists and four steals per game during her senior season ... Standish, who attended the prestigious Nike Regional Skills Academy twice, participated in the 2011 TABC Class 5A-4A All-Star Game and was a two-time TGCA Class 5A All-State selection, while also being named the 2010 District 5-5A Offensive Player of the Year ... The three-time all-district selection was named to the 2010 Class 5A All-State and All-Region teams by Lonestar Girls High School Basketball and was tabbed all-state, all-area and district co-MVP in 2009.
