2007-08 (SENIOR): Helen Roden provided TCU with a solid option off the bench during her senior season, boasting reserve-best averages of 23.2 minutes and 8.2 points per game... ranked fourth on the squad and 25th in the Mountain West Conference in season scoring average... also 13th among MWC players in 3-point field-goal percentage... led the team seven times in assists, three times in scoring and twice in rebounds... reached double figures in scoring 12 times, including five of her final seven games... paced the team with a career-high 18 points during the season-opening win over Radford (Nov. 9), when she went 6-for-6 from the free-throw line... nearly collected her first career double-double with 11 points and a career-high-tying nine boards at UNLV (Jan. 29)... scored 13 of her 15 points in the first half while helping TCU down No. 22/22 Wyoming on Feb. 13... went 3-of-3 from behind the arc while tying for the team lead with four assists vs. the Cowgirls... led the Frogs to victory with 12 points and four assists during her final home appearance March 5 against Air Force... followed that up with another 12-point effort during TCU's regular-season-ending win at BYU (March 8)... scored in double-figures for a career-high third straight game with 11 points against Air Force in the quarterfinals of the MWC Tourament... totaled her 400th career point and 200th career board against the Falcons... finished her Frog career with 13 points and five boards March 30 during a WNIT quarterfinal loss at Colorado... matched a career high by making five field goals against the Buffaloes.

2006-07 (JUNIOR): Roden played in every game, while starting 21... started two games at shooting guard... finished fifth on the team with a scoring average of 6.0 ... paced the team in assists on eight occassions... scored a career-high 14 points on two occassions... scored 14 against Rice on Nov. 25 and at Air Force on Jan. 11... hit a career-best three 3-pointers against Arizona and at Utah... posted a career-best five assists against Air Force (Feb. 10) and at San Diego State (Feb. 28)... had a career-high 14 points and nine rebounds at Air Force on Jan. 11... recorded a career-high three steals against Arizona (Nov. 19) and Air Force (Feb. 10)... scored in double figures seven times... posted 12 points on 6-of-10 shooting against Utah in the MWC Tournament... also had five rebounds in the loss to the Utes... scored 11 points on 5-of-9 shooting at Utah... scored 10 points and did not commit a turnover in 29 minutes against New Mexico on Jan. 24... made 4-of-7 shots and had 12 points against San Diego State on Jan. 28... had 10 points and four rebounds against Utah on Feb. 18... had six rebounds and four assists against George Washington on Nov. 18.

JUNIOR COLLEGE: Roden enjoyed an outstanding career at Odessa College (Texas) of the Western Junior College Athletic Conference (WJCAC)... in her final year (2005-06), averaged 15.1 points, 7.7 assists and 2.5 steals per game... in 2006, led her team to the NJCAN Division 1 National Championship game... Odessa College finished as the national runner-up and concluded the season with an impressive 34-1 record... named the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches (TABC) Junior College Player of the Year... tabbed the WJCAC MVP... selected all-conference, all-region and all-state after her sophomore campaign... a 2006 first-team TABC All-American selection by the TABC... was an All-American under head coach Nate Altenhofen... was selected to try out for the Junior Australian Team in 2006... chose TCU over Michigan State and Temple.

PREP: Roden was a 2003 graduate of Penola Catholic College in Australia... coached in club basketball by Paul Simpson... member of the Victorian School girl's basketball team from 1999-2003... also competed for the Australian School girl's basketball squad from 2000-2003.

PERSONAL: Helen Gloria Roden was born on March 26, 1986... daughter of David Sr. and Sala... youngest of five children... has two sisters, Betty and Caroline and two brothers, David Jr. and Gordon... interestingly, the rest of her family spells their last name Rodan... comes from a family of athletes... father played rugby and soccer in Fiji and David Jr. plays professional football with the Port Adeliade Football Club (AFL) in Australia... David was drafted in the second round of the 2001 AFL draft by Richmond... seeking a degree in communications... would like to work in real estate after playing overseas or in the WNBA.
