A two-guard prospect who played for Troy High School in Fullerton, Calif., Amanda Sims joins the Frogs as a freshman for the 2008-09 season. Sims, who stands at 5-10, was rated a three-star recruit by both Scout.com and HoopGurlz.com during her senior season, while Collegiate Girls Basketball Report rated her as the nation's No. 73 overall prospect and 13th-best shooting guard. She logged time playing for the California Swish club team in the summer of 2007.
