FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) - Sandora Irvin had 24 points and 10 rebounds to lead five scorers in double figures as No. 19 TCU defeated New Mexico State 96-63 Tuesday night.

Ebony Shaw had 18 points, Adrianne Ross 14, Natasha Lacy 12 and Tracy Wynn 10 for TCU (11-2).

Sinnamonn Garrett led New Mexico State (6-6) with 25 points, and Nicole Black added 15.

TCU converted 17 first-half turnovers into 24 points and led 52-31 at the break.

New Mexico State opened the second half with an 8-0 run to close to 54-39 with 17:37 remaining. But TCU increased its lead with a 13-5 burst over the next three minutes.

The Lady Frogs scored 40 points in the paint to 18 by New Mexico State. TCU finished with 36 points off 25 New Mexico State turnovers. The Aggies converted 18 TCU turnovers into 10 points.

New Mexico State shot just 29 percent in the second half and 37 percent for the game. TCU shot 56 percent.
